Growing up in New England, I knew from an early age that I had a love for planning and events, especially the intricate details of weddings (who else would ask for post-it notes for Christmas?). After a particularly detailed senior project in high school, I knew for certain I wanted to follow a career path in event planning.

I enjoyed throwing parties and being a hostess in my home, and was often called upon by family, friends, and co-workers to help plan social events.

After several years in a full-time retail career (hey, gotta pay the bills!), I was at last able to focus on pursuing my dream of being an entrepreneur.

I hold a bachelor's degree and have extensive experience in project and business management.

I take great pride in my work, and for more than ten years now, I have been going above and beyond to ensure every detail of every event is met with perfection.

When I’m not planning events, I enjoy being with my husband and two boys, reading, blogging, being anywhere by the ocean and in nature, and exploring the decor aisles of my local craft store.

Want to know more about me?

What is your favorite part of being an event planner?

My favorite part by far is the look of joy and wonder on my client’s faces when they arrive at their event and see how everything has come together, it’s magical and SO rewarding!

What did you do before event planning?

I spent many years working in retail management, operations, and project management for a large home furnishings company, which I am so grateful for as it taught me a TON about organization and time management, all key parts of being a successful planner!

What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?

If I was forced to start a new career tomorrow, I would do a complete 360 and pursue my dream of becoming a forensic psychologist.

What are some of your favorite things?

The ocean, books, white wine, cats, Post-It notes, roller coasters, my morning coffee, Harry Potter, lipstick, The Office, and listening to music as often as humanly possible.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

My husband and I spent 2 amazing weeks in Hawaii, on Maui. It’s exactly as amazing as you imagine it is. HIGHLY recommend.
